I just really feel the loss in an episode like the one where Joey is mugged and they literally chopped out parts of scenes. She sings with the mugger guy and it's really powerful.

I've only seen that episode twice. I skip over it because I didn't find it very interesting.

Yep I skip that episode also.the original music in coming home and failing down at the end is really good compared to what’s on the DVDs.

Just thought I'd mention that tickets for Children Of A Lesser God are now on sale - see e-mail below. More details in the News thread.

Quote:
You asked for it! Tickets ARE NOW ON SALE for Children of a Lesser God. Performances begin at the Studio 54 on March 22, 2018 with opening night set for April 11.
Children of a Lesser God tells the story of James Leeds, a new teacher at a school for the deaf, and Sarah Norman, the school’s one-time star student who has stayed behind as its cleaning woman rather than venturing out into the hearing world. James immediately takes a keen interest in Sarah, and tries to persuade her to communicate orally by lip reading as they kindle a romance beyond words.

I bought my tickets (for me and my son) for 16th June, and now have to get some sort of package for flights and hotel. Last time we visited the US we thought we had a great deal for a hotel but the site didn't add on the taxes etc so it was a lot more expensive when we came to book it. This time I am going to try to get a package from a holiday company.

Is that expensive in USA? Here any musical theatre or theatre tickets range from $100-200 depending on where you want to sit.

We bought mid-range tickets. The premium tickets are more expensive and the higher up tickets are cheaper.

I have to do a lot of stuff before I can even dare to think of it. I need a new passport for next year, have to fill in ESTAs and book hotel and flights. Hoping to book with Virgin holidays who fly direct to NYC from Manchester. I think plastic is in order and lots of grovelling to hubby. It's a pity he isn't a Josh fan, but he just isn't interested in going at all.

I was like you I had to get a new passport we booked our flights a couple of weeks ago and have booked our hotel but we had done all this before I knew the play would be still on. I just had my fingers crossed that it would be at least running until the end of June...
