I was thinking the same thing.

I'm putting this here too because it talks a lot about Josh's career.

Jake Gyllenhaal vs. Joshua Jackson: Delayed gratification vs. instant

I didn't like that article, though - like I'm sorry, successful television shows like Fringe aren't indie films and oscars, but they're still an accomplishment. The article seemed pretty slanted towards Jake Gyllenhaal awesome guy.

I've only seen Jake Gyllenhaal in one film that I can think of, where he played a creepy guy who went round filming accidents and disasters - a horrible character so I couldn't warm to him at all. I wouldn't go out of my way to see him in anything else!

When I first noticed Josh in Fringe the appeal was instantaneous, and got stronger as the series went on.

I like Jake and I have seen him in several movies. The article did focus a bit more on him, but they did do a lot of mentions of Josh's achievements as well.

I just feel like the article seemed to say movies were better than TV. I love TV!

Yeah, The Night Crawler. He was good in Donnie Darko, though.

I did see Donny Darko but that was so long ago that I couldn't remember who was in it.

I agree, but I think it's because there is more money in movies than TV for the most part and that includes actor salaries, so if you are ranking an actor on their net worth in most cases then I guess movie actors are more important.

I think a lot of the best actors and directors are switching to TV.

And I think it's because there are shows now that are only 10 episodes, so there's less commitment for the actors.

They get all the Berkshires cast back so far for Broadway.

I think there's still more prestige attached to movies than TV which is reflected in the Jake vs Josh article. But I'd put 100 episodes of Fringe vs. Prince of Persia any day, lol.

It doesn't say how long the show is set to run, hopefully at least 6 months then it will be easier to get tickets.

Me too. That's like 80 hours of Josh vs. 2 hours of Jake. I'll take the 80 hours any day.
