You can just follow if and read other people's Tweets. You don't even have to join Twitter to look at someone's Twitter account (providing) it's a public one. Some Twitter accounts have limitations.

I will probably join twitter and just follow to start.

If you need any guidance, I'd be happy to assist, although I doubt you will have any issues.

Thanks. I am a bit wary of new things to start with but I dare say I will get used to it. I don't think anyone would follow me if I did tweet so I think following other people may be the best thing.
