The Fringe Discussion Thread #32: The Greatest Sci-Fi Show Ever?

Fringe was really a family show

And of Course All Their Adversaries!

Thanks for the new thread

It went a lot easier than the last thread I opened - no gremlins at all!

stlavin95 12-06-2019 04:50 PM

That's great

Just looking through the OP Josh looks great in Uniform. He would have made a great Officer in a movie or TV show.

stlavin95 12-06-2019 04:54 PM

No doubting that

I wonder how much of the original intention of the show was followed in each season or they made up each season as it was picked up by the network.

stlavin95 12-06-2019 05:06 PM

I think they followed the original plan as much as they could

I think if they had more seasons at their disposal they wouldn't have rushed some things probably (or they would have developed some storylines they had to drop because they weren't sure if they were going to have time to focus on them too). But they didn't change the main plot. That's why when you re-watch there aren't many inconsistencies with the main storyline.

stlavin95 12-07-2019 04:28 PM

That's certainly true

Thanks for the new Thread

I agree. I think the only real issue was in seasons 2 and 3 that they seemed to be able to get from Boston to New York very quickly, especially when Olivia rushed off to see Nina just after having a seizure when she got her memories back. (Episode 4) Or in APT 6B when they went to New York from the Boston Lab to measure the activity around the apartment block.

stlavin95 12-08-2019 02:44 PM

That's certainly true

JJH85 12-08-2019 06:29 PM

How far is it anyway and how long would it take to drive there?
