Well Walter said he bought the beach house to be close to Reiden lake and must have had the beach house when he crossed over or why would he have had the device at the beach house. Perhaps he could have had both one for the summer and one for the winter and we know it was winter when he crossed over as the lake was frozen. I think after season 1 they changed a few things to fit better with the frozen lake idea.

I agree that they changed things a bit after S1. There were probably some backstories they didn't feel would add to the storyline going forward.

For real, when they were shooting Fringe, they made sure everyone looked amazing. Especially in the first three seasons when they had more money.

Well it's not really a stretch to make Josh look good or Anna and Jasika either, and John made the perfect Walter and I wouldn't have changed a think about him.

Watched The Bishop Revival last night. I love that episode especially the driving to the scene by Walter. John did that for real and Josh had to sit beside him while he kangaroo jumped along the road and crashed into the bins. John did speak about it in an interview.

Also I know it sounds bad but I really thought the montage was hilarious, and still laugh every time I see it in a re-watch. Walter's comments made it even funnier.

I know! But I read Anna could drive on the US side of the street, and she could speak in her US accent, but doing both sometimes caused issues.

I'm back home again! Thought I'd lost my screenshots but found it by a different method. Lent my dvds to a friend, so not able to watch on my little tv in bedroom, just on the big tv downstairs - when the cricket is finished.

Found this while checking up on Fringe sites! Will have to keep it til the holidays.

Happy Fringemas from Fox!

Fox has release a Fringe-tastic version of "The Night Before Christmas", featuring Walter and his recount of the season so far.

'Twas the night before Fringemas, and all through the lab,
are body parts, organs, a corpse on a slab.
The beakers and flasks antiseptically clean,
with holiday chemicals dyed red and green.

The agents are nestled all snug in their beds,
hoping for dreams without bursting of heads.
And here I am spiking my eggnog with rye,
recalling the joys of a year just flown by.

A gruesome attack on a jaw-dropping flight,
allowed my escape from the men dressed in white.
We needed to contact the brain trapped within,
a comatose agent with translucent skin.

A woman who wanted a quick one night stand,
gave birth to a baby the size of a man.
And then came the fellow who went half insane,
from the terrible sights in his radio brain.

On Peter, On Astrid, On Charlie, and Gene!
We'll find Mr. Broyles is securing the scene.
To the sight of the blast, then back we repair,
after seeing a capsule and a man without hair.

As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly,
our magnetic pigeons took to the sky.
We blew up a papaya, just like the girls brain,
and our formula stopped it from happening again.

A man had a parasite wrapped 'round his heart,
a marvelous creature near tore him apart.
An unsolved equation, to my utmost chagrin,
forced my return to the nut house again.

When a Massive Dynamic man fell with a splatter,
Twas poisonous toads at the heart of the matter.
Once more in the dreamscape, Olivia sought,
to commune with her traitorous love, John Scott.

As jolly old Santa used chimneys, not doors,
a man breached vaults thought the walls and the floors.
But leaving no toys, they stole mine instead,
who's secrets I locked in my very own head.

A new year commences with the passing of old,
after 17 years I came back from the cold.
Experiments finished, and new ones begun,
a new little family, complete with my son.

So much has happened, and so much is about to,
and we don't want to locate the pattern without you.
There's madness afoot, so until our next fright,
Merry Fringemas to all, and to all a Fringe night!

Yeah I was only having a little fun..:-).yeah I'm guessing learning to drive on the wrong side of the ride and the steering wheel being on the other side of the car for us would take a little to get used too... I know I was freaked out when I visited the USA....:-)
