| Moderator Manager   | The Earl Crest/LSSOM Appreciation Thread #2 Oh, the "Earl Crest" thread. This thread has history, it has depth, it has a very intense fan following. Why you ask? Let my co-mod, Donna explain it for you: "This is one lovable character: dependable, full of integrity and darned sexy. You just don't see his kind on the big screen anymore. Well, we didn't with this movie either because it went straight to DVD, but never you mind that. This movie is worth having in everyone's home collection. Earl is in love with his girlfriend, Baby, and will do anything for her, including fearlessly saving her dim-witted cousin from himself, getting shot by a nasty dip-chewing ex-con, trying to resolve a mix-up between drug lords, all just days before he takes her to Hollywood to help her realize her dream of becoming a soap opera actress.  Sound crazy? You bet it is. And it's nothing short of hilarious! Directed by David Semel, a former producer and director on Dawson's Creek, it was very obvious he wanted to work with Josh. | I watched LSSOM again last weekend, and I fall in love more and more each time I watch it...in love with the movie, in love with Earl, and in love with Josh.
