I hope they explain the tattoos but I am still waiting to see a surfing scene. I remember tweets or other statements from the crew about a day spent on the beach and some dude(perhaps a stuntman) surfing all day even though it was a little hair-raising.

Maybe the tattoo is Josh's own - and he has kept it covered up for his other roles or it is a recent addition - or Sarah Treem is messing with us.

If the next episodes are set in the winter months I don't suppose we'll get to see any surfing scenes - I wonder what happened to the stuff they shot when they all went to the beach. I remember one of the kids commenting on beach scenes.

I wonder what Noah and his Father in Law hatch up together - it looks like they are up to something in one of the previews, and what is that scene with Noah and his class about - is he regretting his marriage? or the affair? it must have some meaning, and do all school children in state schools swear like that or is it only on TV.

There have bee a few beach scenes, just no surfing scenes, so did they specifically talk about the surfing or just the beach and waves?

I remember one of the children talking about being at the beach all day and I remember they showed a picture of the surfing guy. Maybe they just didn't show any surfing scenes and didn't bother with the kids on the beach, or maybe they weren't filming just having a good time. Or a lot maybe ended up on the cutting room floor.

I noticed in Cherry's kitchen there is an old green typewriter that looks a lot like the one the new shape-shifters used in S4 of Fringe. The Lockharts are Shapeshifters!!! This is my first screenshot. I hope it works.



Maybe things have changed in the past twenty plus years since I was in high school, but I grew up in the states, and we definitely did not curse like that in class, or we would have thrown out and sent to the office.

And, people surf all year, but they wear wetsuits, so we wouldn't see the tattoo.

Well if we don't it must not be important. You are probably right about the waves. I remember they said that all beach scenes were made at the same time and they did that with many of the scenes so they didn't have to keep going back and too the same location so I suppose the kids could have spent the day at the beach when the crew were there, but were not specifically part of the action.
