His dark Materials is a series of fantasy books by Philip Pullman aimed at teenagers. I've never read any but they are really popular so hopefully the TV series will be.

I saw the latest trailer for The Affair and Joanie is talking to someone about Allison. It is like a voice over so we don't know who she is talking to, but she is asking the question of why they never talked about the night her mother died, so it sounds like she is talking to someone very familiar, so I'm wondering if perhaps it might be a conversation on the phone with Cole. I know that is too much to hope for, but even if he's not in the show, it would be nice to know he's still around.

The latest preview has a lot of Alison flashbacks (and quick glimpses of Cole.) . And Joanie parallels. Looks like someone going to attack her too?
