I don't think he'll have a new love interest. We've seen him with Luisa in BTS. There's no new love interest for Helen, either. I don't think a woman in one episode would be a love interest for Cole.

I would be surprised if they forced another love interest with Cole, it doesn't see to fit his personality.

Cole's central dilemma was basically Luisa vs Alison. I don't see how a new love interest makes any sense in the context of that. I think by new love interests in the description, they basically meant Alison and Noah because they're the only ones who've had new love interests cast.

I think articles about shows like to mention possible love interests to keep the readers interested (in the article).

I'm sure that's all it is. They have to juice it up before it airs and keep the speculation active.

Perhaps, but for some reason there are Noah fans out there. However, this is the Cole Thread, so we won't be talking about Noah here

Lets just hope that however long Cole has on screen his storyline will be interesting, and keep everyone entertained to get him noticed 'beyond The Fringe' so to speak.

I truly hope we get more than just one really incredible scene with him. I mean, all Josh's scenes are incredible, but we need something that will make the critics stand up and take notice, not to mention those in charge of the Awards.

I feel like Josh has gotten some recognition, they do talk about him award times, but that category is SO crowded.

So long as the casting directors notice him then he may get some good offers of decent roles.

We can't forget that Josh has been nominated for a People's Choice Award for the last 2 Years. There's a lot to be said for that given it's the fans who vote.

Selfishly, all I want for Josh's next role is to be in the marvel movies. But in the meantime, I think that when the Affair lost some of its buzz in s3, it hurt Maura and Josh's chances at awards.
