I think Cole is probably drunk and upset, thus sitting on Gabriel's grave, next to Scotty's. I swear in the one picture you can see a "SC." Maybe it's Cole's mom. I don't think Noah is attending the funeral, I think he's just there for some other reason. Cole definitely looks very very upset and Noah looks like he's trying to nice.

It is also possible that those are Scotty's ashes and they had yet to bury him (so that is the funeral) and perhaps truth about how Scotty died has already come out which is why Noah had the nerve to go up to Cole at all.

All kinds of possibilities.

Maybe Cole is going to bury Scotty's ashes beside Gabriel. (Our cousins little boy is called Gabriel - nothing to do with this thread but I always think of him when discussing Cole's Gabriel.)

Maybe Noah is having some sort of therapy that he has to go to all the people he has wronged and apologise, before he can move on with his life.

That's true, but we only saw that version of the funeral, besides people can have a funeral and then have their burial at a later date. Of course I'm not convinced that it's Scotty's funeral though.

Maybe the Lockharts have been holding onto the Urn all this time and only now want to bury the ashes. The ceremony is a committal ceremony and can be a small family affair or a bigger religious ceremony.

I saw it on the joshuajacksonnews.com board in the Affair thread.. it is a picture of her and Joanine and Noah.Coles mum is wearing black and so is joanine and Noah is in the shirt and tie,looks like a fan pic...

I feel the same way, and I'm leaning toward it being his Mom as well. I would be disappointed, because how much loss can one guy take in such a short time. The loss of a son, the loss of his wife, the loss of the family Ranch, the loss of his brother and now the loss of his mom (if it's Cherry).
