Looking forward to some surfing shots. The trouble is Cole is an expert surfer but Josh possibly hasn't got the same skill. Maybe they will use a stunt man/body double if they need anything too technical. They should have made Cole a canoeist or scuba diver.

We've seen Josh surf, but it's the Affair, I'm sure we won't be seeing Cole actually surfing like the riding the waves, at most it probably be paddling out and coming in from the ocean.

The coming out of the water dripping wet sounds great. I know Josh can surf but from what we saw in those shots from a few years ago he didn't look like an expert, which I think Cole is supposed to be. They could show a body double from a distance doing the expert stuff and Josh coming out of the water carrying the board. Then getting showered and dried off. Maybe the thong could put in an appearance again hmm

That's what I mean - I can't think of an Affair scene where we'd actually see Cole surfing - it's about his or Alison's perceptions, so almost always they're reacting to a person. Surfing is just a physical activity and we haven't seen Cole actually surfing in the past three seasons.

Interesting. I wonder if that means we won't see Helen/Noah scenes or Cole/Alison scenes and if not how will the different POVs fit it.

I'm just hoping for more Cole this season.

I'm sure we won't have no scenes of the characters together - and they don't all have new love interests since we already saw Luisa.

I can see there will probably be an overlap with Cole/Alison because of their daughter. I suppose that would be why Helen/Noah could overlap as well, because of their kids. However, other than that they all seem to have their own stories, this season.

So, how does this link back to the affair? They seem to be getting further and further away from the premise in season 1. Montauk and the story there, is why people fell in love with the show.

Sarah also said on twitter, that there is going to be a road trip in this season. She didn't say which characters will be doing that.

With Sanaa recurring during this season, I can't see them not giving Noah less screen time. She is a big name. It wouldn't surprise me if Noah and Alison get the same amount of screen time this season.
