I watched some S1 Cole scenes last night before bed, man that scene of hime riding in on the horse and then dismounting I so wish there hasd been more of those kinds of scenes. Now I want Josh to play a cowboy in a movie or even a show like Longmire.

I just rewatched all of the Cole scenes from season 1. There was one scene (I think it was in 1×07) where he breaks down on the street crying and it's just the most beautiful acting I think I've ever seen. God he's good.

He should have gotten an emmy nom, he was so fantastic, esp in s2.

That S1E7 scene was pretty powerful. He always brings it when emotion is involved and I agree that there should have been an Emmy nod for him. At least for the first two seasons, I don't think he was given enough in S3 to warrant one though which is a shame. He was so underutilized in S3.
