I'm here Now where are the rest of you?

Bit of info about myself - I'm Suzi and I live on the outskirts of London, out by Heathrow airport. I am, however, a Northern chick originally from Blackburn, Lancashire. I was lucky enough to see Josh on stage in ALITT when he was in London and meet him a few times too.

Can I just enquire what prompted you to start this thread Mandy? Was it a request?

Hy, I'm here too

But i'm confused: I'm Italian but i've lived in England for 7 years TODAY (can't believe it's been so long already)

BTW I live in the Lake District, Cumbria, in the North of England.

So, can I appear in the UK thread ?

Well it seems that before you arrived Manu it was just little old me so you're more than welcome.

What brought you over to England? The Lake District is one of my favourite parts of the UK, we used to visit frequently as children. I went back a few years ago and appreciated it on a whole new level. The friendliest Brits are the northerners!!!

Hello dh1967 (is that your real name ) I knew there was a few UK residents on here but most of them seemed to fade away after ALITT ended.

Hey suzi real name is Deb surname begins with H and born in 1967 not very original I know! I'm here everyday but rarely post! started a new job 2 weeks ago for a very well known security company and I'm H&S manager so although it's not even 11 on a Friday night I'm off to bed cos I'm knackered but if Juliet or LJ212 had updated I would be reading fic in bed!

Hi Deb!! You should post more, I need an English ally on here.

Can't remember last time I read a Juliet fic, I've been avoiding them as once you start on one they become addictive and soooo time consuming.

I'm a teacher so I'm knackered pretty much all the time. I don't recommend spending all day with 30 4/5 year olds.

Have you been watching Fringe?

Hi Suzi! I couldn't imagine spending my whole day with children think I'd probably be suicidal! Yes I have been watching Fringe and really like it! don't think you can avoid the comparisions with the X Files but love the undercurrant of humour that runs through each episode! seems to dilute the gore!

And by god there is quite alot of gore in some of the episodes. I do find myself thinking about The X-Files whilst watching it but as you said there is that undercurrant of humour which keeps it a little more lighthearted than its predecessor.

(Seriously) and He was like I dont want to watch it on my own! ha ha ha.

See, I've already got you posting on here more!!

I watch it with my hubby but one night I watched it alone (think it was ep 4 with Josh being tortured) and I freaked myself out. Its def not late night alone viewing.

Have you got snow today? I was hoping for a huge snowfall over night instead I have a few patches of white dust in my plant pots. No chance that school will be closed tomorrow now.

We had snow early on (I live right on the edge of Epping Forest and it's beautiful here when we have snow) It's now slush and freezing cold rain! I'm just mustering up the enthusiasm to get dressed and walk to Morrisons (I hate shopping)

I've sent the hubby off to Tesco, he seems to quite like grocery shopping so I leave him to it, either that or he's having an affair with one of the check-out girls.

After the smattering of snow and the freezing rain we've now got glorious sunshine, don't you just love English weather?

Ha ha ha! keep your eye on him! I've just had a quick trip to tesco too with GBF and brought some cheap booze! (something I never mind shopping for) and I've talked him into coming to me to watch Fringe!
