Thanks Sandy K for bringing some calm back to the thread, and for checking up on the facts.

Also we have to remember that Josh chose to join this show because of Sarah Treem and the writing and has said on numerous occasions that he loves working with this group of actors and the fact that he (and the others) have time to work on their characters and the way they are portrayed.

Above all he is working with people he likes and admires and enjoys his working environment, which is more than a lot of people get in their working lives.

Every actor can submit his emmy consideration, that's not what it's all about. Josh name is on the Emmy ballot no question there, but that's not the point.
The thing i was upset about is that Showtime is only pushing Dominic, Ruth and Maura.
And to get an actually Emmy nom, you need votes and being that Showtime doesnt consider him for that he can lose a lot of votes.
I stand by my early rants even though yes i can be more diplomatic about expressing my opinions.
I thought this conversation here went really well, everybody expressed their opinion, untill someone accused me of something i wasn't and the mood on this board became negative.

But other then that i really liked hearing everybody opinion on this subject
