If scotty has to do with the drug business, than Cole is too.
He was/is the boss among his brothers. Scotty is a hot head but i don't think he would start something like that alone, because i still think Cole is the one who runs that business.
I would like to see drug business as a crucial element of Cole's backstory, and that would be a great oportunity if we'll see his POV.

I was thinking about how the drug business came in the Lockhart family and i have 2 options:

- It's always been a family business
- Since Cole is a so colled "prodigal son", and we have not learned anything about that in season 1, maybe he was the son with a dark past and he called some of his old friends to start the business....partly to obtain money

I agree. I hope we do get some sort of back story on Cole.

I don't dispute that Cole runs or at least ran the drug business but I think Scotty was the main distributor through the parties he attended and his rich and famous friends. Perhaps his part in the business helped to contribute towards his possible murder. As I said cocaine is the preferred drug choice of the wealthier members of society and I can't see Cole befriending and hanging out with those sort of people, but I could see Scotty fitting right in with that crowd.

I see Cole as more in the background, running things quietly.

We don't even know what he did in the meantime we saw Alison on her own or with Noah. Maybe Cole has even a more active role sometimes.

I agree, but as we have seen Scotty wants to do things his way sometimes, and may have sold drugs to the wrong person which could have contributed to his death. Usually when people go against the grain is when something awful happens, and it is Scotty who ends up dead so maybe he tried to get rich quick and took some risks so put himself in danger.

I don't really care what Cole has done in the past as long as they show it - or what he is doing in the future or now or anytime. I don't suppose he was ever a missionary or Sunday school teacher but even if he was I would take it!

I just want to see more Cole. (A bit more Scotty would be nice too). I also like Mary-Kate so hope she is featured in the up coming season.

I think we just want more Lockharts. I like those characters too and I agree that anything extra on Cole would be great.

So do I. Lets hope we aren't left in the dark. I don't think I can stand much more A/N jiggy jiggy without some more of the other characters - even Oscar and his bowling alley.
