Episode Discussion: Pilot (October 3rd)
 

It´s finally time tonight to discuss the first episode :yay:

Thank god it's finally coming on! I'm glad it's going to be on after Ghost Whisperer, hopefully it'll help it get good ratings.

It seems quite compatible with Ghost Whisperer and that gets quite good ratings as you say, so hopefully people will stick around. Looking forward to it.

Yay, finally it airs! I feel like this board has been here for months :lol: Hopefully I won't have to wait too long to watch, then I can join in the discussion :D

I've been waiting for this series to air and I absolutely adored this premiere. I most definitely laughed out loud.

I liked how there were a couple of turns and it keeps you guessing. Sure it turned out the way that I'm sure a lot of us thought but I liked how it was done.

The dialogue is also something refreshing.

I loved this pilot, better than I expected. Definitely one of the the best pilot I've seen this Fall.

The pilot was awesome. I think i'm going to like this show a lot.

I think the pilot is really funny :lol:

It was very similar to the Israeli version.. a lot of same dialouges and even whole scenes (like the scene where Johny gets of stage in slow motion towards Bella and kisses her.. they even used the same song!).
In the Israeli version I felt really sorry for the main character in the end, I didn't expect it, so of course when I was watching this Pilot I knew what will happen and I think they did it a little bit more predictable.

Something that bothered me in the difference in the versions were that Bella's recent Ex (the one they have the dog together) is not how he's in the Israeli version... in the original version he's in wheel-chair (but I guess the US audience is not ready for a character in a wheel-chair and rather have a hot guy with flawless body) and I think it added to the original story I liked his character there but I don't really like Elliott the same way because here he's just another pretty face/body.

EDIT: Oh, and btw, the whole Hitler/Gandi/Lincoln (Herzel) was in the original version too...

I really enjoyed it, it's nothing earth shattering but it was really funny. I like the way most of the characters are turning out so far, especially Bella and her sister. The ex this week (Johnny Diamont) was very amusing and original in the way he broke up with her.

Can't wait, this show looks really good. :)

I'd never heard those terms used before, are they common? I could guess what each "style" was though.....;)

I love the next ep's name "Climb every mountain Biker" makes me laugh at perverting the Sound of Music like that. :)

It's not common, atleast not in my area... I heard it for the first time in the original show and was amused by it.

I love Johnny with Bella. I really hope that the writers bring him back at some point because they had good chemistry and I liked Johnny as a character. He was interesting. Her recent ex is blah and boring.
