And I'm wondering if that creature was Mariann, but it changes a bunch of things since in the books she was meant to deliver a message to Eric. Not sure how they are gonna go with this now. It confused me quite a bit.

And I have no idea about Daphne, I was severely confused by that too.

I just rewatched the episode and I have never really loved any of Jason's scenes, but the scene at the table was great

Watch that scene, it's even funnier when you actually watch it

Hey guys! I'm watching the episode right now and I had to come here and discuss before it was even over! I'm loving that guy Hoyt who Jessica hit on in the bar. He was just so so sweet I died a little inside.

I'm also loving the Sookie/Eric gynamic in this episode a LOT!

I love that scene with Jessica/Hoyt. Young love!

I cringed when I saw the scene of Sookie getting attacked. When she couldn't take Bills blood, I knew she was in trouble.

I"m glad that they didn't kill Lafayette.

This was a great episode and I'm chomping at the bit for the next! Didn't that girl drinking at the end of the party gone wild scene with blonde hair and the black "possessed eyes" look like the anti-vampire cult girl Sarah? I concur that the Jason/Sarah scene was protracted and that plot line does bore me but I'm willing to see where it leads. I'm sure Jason will be back to his old ways soon enough.

Ya, that was a good opening scene (Jessica/Hoyt) and music as well!

so the ep started out really great and then about 15 min in, it just went downhill and fast! every ep always has some sort of enjoyable section and then the rest is just a snooze... i wish they could keep the pace going, but alas, they can't, EVER!

loved jessica! she was easily the best part of the ep, after eric of course, but yea, her and hoyt were adorable too! i can only hope they continue jessica's snarky, but sweet mentality... bill better leave hoyt alone though! can't he just go and make googly eyes at his wittle princess? *yawn*

eric hands down pwned all! and him being such an asshat to pam! those were great pumps ... i really don't see why he puts up with sookie/bill though... i'd kill them both and have a party, but whatevs... i thought at first i'd jump on the sookie/eric band wagon, but nope! i fear she'd just ruin his character like she did bill, so please, stay away! besides, i'm much more intrigued by the eric/laffayette teasing they seem to be doing

jason didn't really bother me this ep, but i was hardly amused either... i will say him praying to god for a sign and him defending vampires in the group meeting were a nice watch, but nothing really spectacular is coming from his end... i really can't wait until he has a scene with either tara or sookie!

they are totally wasting tara and for nothing! i'm over eggs and maryann alike... that whole orgy was disgusting and thank god girl knows when to leave a party! i hope she has scenes with lafayette next week! gosh, something other than this atrocity! yuck!

my poor bb, lafayette! thank god he's finally home... only i'm guessing he'll continue to be depressed for a couple more eps... it's not that i don't still adore him, cause i do, but i'm over it! i miss the old lafayette, but at least he's not dead... i must remind myself of that, like constantly!

bill, sookie and sam can gtfo, kthanks!

After watching that promo I can see I was wrong about Jason, looks like he'll be involved with the church for awhile.

So, I'm kind of confused. The scene with Sam and Daphne at the lake, we see Daphne take off her shirt and there are those scares on her back that Sookie had. So does that mean that she got attacked, too?
The doctor seemed to think it was like a komodo dragon - it would slowly weaken the prey until the dragon could eat them. I think that was a total misdirection on the writer's part. I would take a guess that it's someway for the (minotaur?) guy to take control of people. So yeah, Daphne's got one now too and it looks like it's started to heal over, which disproves the doctor's dragon theory. It probably means she was "infected" before Sookie. Maybe even before she started working at Merlotte's - which could mean she was planted there. Who would want someone in Merlotte's watching over Sam and Tara? Maryann.

Minotaur... the picture of Pan over Maryann's pool... wait a minute... The woman in the picture was the mother of pan... Maryann said "she could be any one of us"... If theories are permitted here, I'd like to go out on a limb and say that Maryann would be Pan's mother. The horned creature would then be Pan, who spends most of his time disguised as an enormous pig, or a guy named Carl.

Pan:
The parentage of Pan is unclear; in some myths he is the son of Zeus, though generally he is the son of Dionysus, with whom his mother is said to be a nymph.

Dionysus:
In classical mythology, Dionysus or Dionysos (pronounced /ˌdaɪ.ɵˈnaɪsəs/; Greek: Διόνυσος or Διώνυσος) is the god of wine, the inspirer of ritual madness and ecstasy.

Okay, so I know a lot of people are playing the blame game for when Sookie was scratched, but honestly, I don't see how it can be anyone's fault. Bill, Sookie, Jessica. No one knew that that creature was out there, so to me, it's like, you can't pin the blame on anyone. But if you want to blame someone, you kind of have to blame all of them. It's like a domino effect. Sookie took Jess to her house, Jessica went into her house, Bill went crazy and yelled at Sookie, so Sookie got out of the car. But...I guess if you want to only blame one person it would be Sookie for being so dumb and taking Jess to her house. But, it doesn't really matter who you blame because Sookie's fine now.

I agree that that somehow Daphnie, my son thinks so ,and Maryann is involved .

Since vampires "glam " what is it that Mary ann is doing to make this people all loose and sexualy charged. On a personal note, if there is weed out there that does that. please send me some !!!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad to see Tara getting her head together and not falling for all this mary ann crazy party.

Jayson, i know it will all lead up to him sleeping with the good Reverend wife and get caught

As for what happened to Sookie ,to me it all part of the Bill Sookie storyline and she has to understand where she lives can be very dangerous at night.

Daphnie must be something other then human to even have survived a attack or part shape shifter .... But She was working at the bar that night .
