i loved the ship in the books. i'm probably going to ship them in the show! don't have HBO though so i'll have to watch it online! is it already airing?

Not yet. The pilot airs on September 7th.

I don't ship those two in the books, but maybe it'll be different on the show

I really have no idea who I'm going to ship. From the first book I'm partial to Sookie/Bill but I'm sure this might change again. Who knows. Maybe I'll be happy with both ships. Which reminds me, would it be a good idea to open up a thread where both ships can be discussed? You know for those who like both ships and don't want to bother those who only ship one couple. It's just an idea but please let me know what you think about it.

But I don't think a thread like this is necessary. Both ships can be discussed in the episode discussion threads and in a general season 1 discussion thread

thanks for the info! i loved sookie/bill in the beginning of the series and i shipped a lot of different pairings when it comes to this series. i'm probably gonna be one of those fans who has a hard time finding one ship and staying with it.
