I finally read the first 7 books! Love all the ES moments! I'm ordering #8 in paperback right now..but can't seem to find #9 in paperback..guess I'll have to wait till it comes out, anyone knows when it will?

9 is only in hardcover right now. it won't be out in paperback until next April.

Interesting. It's interesting how thats worded, but i do believe ES will shine eventually, it is a long haul for it. But it's so popular and i can see them working it in eventually to where it was in the books.

Laurie, I would hope not, Sookie and Bill together for all the show would be Boring with a capital B. The potential and opportunity has already been placed, it just needs to flourish a bit now

which is okay with me, they need buildup not like BS who were just together and thrown together none the less

Exactly. I love when a couple has a buildup and I think that's gonna happen with Eric/Sookie.

Me too, most couples i do ship always are like this. Ones that are forced at the audience generally lose appeal for me and i do not care for them like in the instance of Bill and Sooks. Because she does not particularily like Eric, it will be more fun to see them growing towards another in time, ES definitely will have this.

I agree with liking buildup. I'm not a fan of couples that are just slammed together within the first few episodes. The only couple I ship that is sort of like that is Dexter and Rita from Dexter. But I don't really consider them like that because they were already dating when the show started. But yeah, if there is no build up, I don't really like it.

That's why I love Eric and Sookie. You can tell there is definitely something going on.
