In the Sookie Stackhouse novels, Eric is described as being 6'4", blond, with a
muscular build, and is a 1,000-year old Viking. Aside from not being 1,000 years
old, it is almost as if the character was written with Alex in mind.
His physical traits fit the bill and his acting abilities bring Eric's personality to life on the screen.
