Yeah, him giving her a dress still irks me b/c it's just not what Bill does. Bill is not thoughtful when it comes to things like that. Bill sets up accounts at stores and tells Sookie that she can buy whatever she likes. Eric is the one that actually buys things for Sookie and puts some thought into the gifts. He's just lame that way.

As for the Breakthrough moment Emmy, I'm not saying they didn't have chemistry. That wasn't what the award was about anyways. I just don't think it was some big, epic moment when they met.

I am not a B/S fan... Can I be added to the list?
It really irks me that AB is trying to shove B/S down our throats.. I can't stand them as a couple for the simple fact the Sookie is just wimpy around him... She has fire and sparks whenever she is on the screen with Eric... I have read the books and I have watched the show. No comparison. In the books, Sookie is a strong, independent woman.. In the show, she is dependent upon Bill for evrything. When are we going to get the stubborn, fiesty Sookie back from the very first episode...?

glad to have you join us here too.
That’s why I’m happy Billy is gone, so Sookie can stand on her on two feet without depending on him. But AB wouldn’t be doing that this season, because they each have their own storyline

so they rarely have any scenes together unless AB don’t make Billy be missing for long, which would really suck.

I'm thinking next season. I hate the way they write Sookie with Bill. She desparately needs that independence that book!Sookie has. I felt like she had that when Bill wasn't around this season, but she's dumbed down every time she's with Bill. They reduce her to this damsel-in-distress and that's just NOT Sookie. I wonder if Bill will yell at Sookie for rescuing him b/c he wasn't there to "protect" her?

I'm wondering if they'll keep the scene from the books of him raping and drinking from her. I doubt it since the audience would probably be disgusted with the exception of a few who would justify what Bill did.

I could see them having Bill drink from an unwilling Sookie, but not raping her. Which I think is incredibly stupid but God forbid Bill be too tarnsished.

Nope, they are not going to do the rape, but maybe avoid the whole thing or turn it around so it doesn’t look like rape, which I’m going to be pretty mad about, so I rather them just don’t do it at all, and I can see that also in fact I think that are going to replace that with the rape, but AB is not going to let Billy look bad, by raping Sookie, but he would rather go the betrayal route.

I am already loving you guys. Everything being said feels like it is coming out of my brain... It seems like AB is in love with B/S and I think it just makes it awkward that the actors are engaged in real life...I hope that is not a deciding factor on whether or not Sookie and Eric get a chance together...
