BILL WON’T BE BACK FOR AWHILE Ball confirmed that the arc of Bill’s kidnapping will last “about six episodes.” That sounds like just enough time to put Sookie (Anna Paquin) through the wringer, but not enough to try viewers’ patience. Plus, we’ll probably still get to see Bill deal with his captors in episodes 1-5. (Do I hear Askars fan cheering? *woot woot*)

Seriously, that was the best B/S news I've heard in a long time.

I was thinking about Raelle Tucker's comments about how they don't want to rush E/S b/c then it'd be boring and fans would get tired of them if they were a romantic pairing that was in every scene together. I wonder if AB is the only writer on that staff that doesn't think that B/S is boring? Perhaps that's why the pairing sucks so bad.

The writers aren't oblivious to the fact that the B/S pairing tanked last season. I do think that next season is the end of B/S which I'm extremely excited about. I know I'm going to be in heaven when I don't have to listen to Beel say "Sookeh!" all the time. Although, I'm sure if he's tortured while he's held captive he'll still yell it. If only they'd gag him. We wouldn't have to listen to it.

The Top Ten Most Annoying Characters On TV 3) Bill Compton, True Blood The worst thing that can happen to a TV show is for its romantic lead to make his big entrance and then sorta... whiff it. While we love love love True Blood, we're just not down with the fangs that Sookie Stackhouse is banging. Because he's short and whiny and prudish and a too-awkward mixture of gruff and tender. There's nothing dangerous about him, and isn't the implicit danger sort of the whole point of a vampire/human love story? A nation of TB fans seem to agree with us, judging by the collective sighs of relief (and moans of... well, relief) that went up when the far more intriguing Eric strode onto the screen. We get that Bill is central to the whole saga and mythos of the story, but does he have to be such a weenie all the time, especially when standing next to the (way taller) Eric?

Thanks for posting. I would've put Bill at the top of the list though. Bill really is a terrible character and romantic lead. I don't see how AB doesn't see what epic fail Bill actually is. If they're not careful, he's going to pull Sookie right down with him and for some people Bill is already doing that. Sookie is such a better character when she's not with him. I wish they could kill him off next season.

i don't hate bill per say he doesn't do anything for me. I don't even hate him acully he is just blah to me and takes up to mush space that coould be used on eric,jason,layette or tara (s1 tara ofcourse )
Abd sookie is kinda great when she doesn't have scens with her bf. I do kinda love the scens with sookie/jason. I really like those. Not as mush as i adore eric/sookie and tara/sookie ofcourse.
