William Bell is the former lab partner of Walter Bishop and founder of Massive Dynamic. With his company's total wealth in excess of $50 billion, he is considered one of the wealthiest men in the world. Evidently he also possesses great technical knowledge and expertise; Nina Sharp says her fully functional robotic arm was built by Bell himself. Since Bell shared a laboratory with Walter Bishop, it is likely he also has an in-depth knowledge of Fringe Science. Walter himself states that Bell was the only other person who really knew what their experiments were about.

Since founding the company in 1992, William Bell has played a key role in every aspect of the business, from R&D to marketing. His personal vision continues to guide the firm's progress, and his ongoing research constantly yields new innovations and product lines. I never thought about it, but they might do that.. or make him pop up in the series finale or something

Yeah, that would be cool. But they wouldn't name him, you know, he'd just be there and then JJ would be like: "well, he was there, you gotta open your eyes!"

It could be like that too and you'd have to rewatch all episodes that have aired to notice that guy, who may have appeared for like 1 sec

No problem guys! I thought it would be a good idea in case other clues and such come up and we wanna discuss them! I really wanna know whose playing him too! I wonder when we will find out. JJ said by the end of the season we'll know, but I hope we find out before then, I'm really curious!

I think I also read in an interview somewhere with Jeff Pinkner(maybe it was that one) That we have already met William Bell. Interesting ..

Anyway, after tonight's episode I had a theory. John Scott seems to be connected to every case they've been working on. I wonder if maybe John Scott is William Bell? I even got more curious during the promo for next week when Nina said she needed John Scott's memories from Olivia's mind. And it also would seem like John killed those 3 other guys in that group. We saw him stab the black guy with the needle, then Mr. Young and the Latino both died from that drug that made your brain give you lacerations. And since we saw John in a ghost (I guess that's what it could be considered? IDK) form cutting the Latino's neck, you could say he also (possibly) made those butterflies attack Mr. Young and kill him. I think it's very plausible that he killed all 3 of those guys and therefore leading to my theory that he may be William Bell.
