They had that almost from the beginning. There was that scene in one of the first few episodes where Walter was in a robe, but apparently needed to keep his knees together.

I kind of see that as the moment when the ice was broken between the three of them - it was the first steps toward being the family they became. Not just the exposure part - the whole scene.

I was re-watching Fringe today and I forgot all about the scene where Olivia found Walter in the hospital after they crossed over to find Peter. I think Walter was high on painkillers that the hospital gave him
He was all "Ohh, Olivia, is that you" when she was standing right in front of him __________________
