I don't think he would have gone to the Alt Universe, for one thing. But if he had, I can see he and the AltLincoln getting on each other's nerves a lot like siblings do - even after they are grown. AltLincoln would talk him into doing some twin practical jokes. He'd be reluctant at first, but then he'd catch on and decide it's fun. That might actually be part of what finally attracts AltOlivia. I do think if he went he might still wind up married to AltOlivia - which would completely freak AltLincoln out. But as best man for the wedding, AltLincoln would deliver a really touching speech.

AltLincoln did seem sort of cocky, but often that's just a cover for some sort of insecurity. And it's obvious from that scene that he was a pretty sensitive guy.
