I just saw a very recent interview with Lance Reddick (Broyles). He said they were now filming Ep. 8. And I do think that Kirk could stick around playing Alter-Charlie... forever, although his semi-circle scar is very concerning.

I have the feeling that the guy who played John Scott (Anna Torv'sa husband?) has left the show for another project, so they replaced his character with fake!Charlie as Olivia's former confidant who becomes her enemy. As a consequence, they seem to have introduced agent Jessup as a replacement for old!Charlie......does that make sense?
