I see Jessop as a crucial character. It's no coincidence that she's wearing the tell-tale blacks, whites and grays. I'm sure it'll be revealed that she was "experimented" on, too, and that she'll have some "ability" as well and is connected to Olivia. She appears younger than Olivia, so maybe there was some later, secondary experimentation going on as a follow-up to Walter and Bell's tests.

I thought it was hilarious that I caught Mulder before The Observer. I still don't know where The Observer showed up (although I understand he appeared in the accident scene)!

I loved all the Polivia moments. All of them.

I'm not shipping any Nina/Broyles moments.

I rolled my eyes a little with Jessop's attempts to connect the Fringe Division cases to the Bible. I'm very curious to see where they plan to take us with that!

All in all, an excellent season opener with JJ Abrams and Akiva Goldsman writing and Akiva directing. We couldn't have gotten ANY better than that!!! I gotta go watch it again -- especially Peter's "good-bye, Olivia" scene.

Was it Dreamland? The X-Files references made me really happy.

I liked the episode. It was a very good start of the new season. And that new agent seemds nice. I'm gonna miss Charlie though.

So I ended up watching the premiere, 'cause I recorded it and was gonna keep recording 'em so I could catch up once I got caught up with season 1 but... I couldn't help myself

Of course I'm hella confused but still

^ Well, if you're not finished with season 1, I don't think this season premiere spoiled anything for you. I can see where you might be confused, but at least nothing's been given away.

I thought it was awesome; Fringe keeps getting better and better. I'm not too wild about the new girl yet, though. I'm very protective of the dynamic the cast already has- if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Olivia's re-entrance into this reality was wicked.

It was a great coming back, indeed! All the scenes were amazing and we finally got to know something about Peter's mother. Ok, it's not so much but that's something. Poor Olivia, all hurt in that hospital's bed.

I would have liked to see something more about her in the other reality but i guess that it might be even better like this. We'll have other misteries to find out!

I loved Peter! He was about to kiss Olivia

and he has taken care of her throughout the episode! How lovely! Broyles&Nina?!

I'm very surprised about them being more than friends

Oh and i already like the new entry!

Well I am baccccccccccccccccccccccck from the hiatus!

Yeah I know it's been while since I posted this board but with Fringe back on tv, I am starting to post here.

Anyways last night episode was wow, just wow. Interesting! So many things to talk about. I was so giddy when Olivia woke up in Peter's arms, and that Rachel told him that Olivia did like him.

So now he knows that she does like him, lol.

I gotta love Walter talking in two ways, one about his birthday custard and another about that guy's surgery. So hilarious that he kept talking back and forth in last few minutes, seriously. It's hilarious to see that part. And Astrid, he still doesn't say her name right, urgh, lol. Even season two, they still use season one old times, so I am glad to see that.

And Boyles and Nancy kissing? Wow, that was......unexpected, seriously. Wow so they kissed? I am like wha-aa-aa? Wow I totally didn't seen it coming, but interesting. I hope they will tell us how they started to do that but if that was their kiss as a way to greet then so be it, idk.

Charlie?! NOOOO! I was so shocked but sooo worried and scared for him! I so don't want him to be killed off!

I totally freaked out when he threw the body in the fume. Just nooooo. I don't want him to die so I hope Walter will find a way to cure him without killing him since he's already pretending to be someone else who should be killed, urgh. Just nooo. Hate that shapeshifter, urgh.

Exactly how I am feeling right now. This show is a little bit different to be honest. So to see that new agent, I am not feeling her and I even tried to when she was chasing around with Peter to save Olivia's life, etc. I was still not feeling her, idk why. But I hope that next few episodes would make me like her but from last night, it made me feel like, "No it should be between Olivia, Peter, and Walter the way they always are together, nobody else!" So I am hoping that this year they are not thinking of putting new agent in that group. I miss season one so I don't want this one to be any difference with new agent. Sure she can join them but not too much, you know. Just some scenes and that's it. Please give us at least three cores.

I miss them together.

That's how I feel too. I don't want her butting into all the Olivia/Peter/Walter scenes. That trio is the heart of the show and I don't want it to become a quartet.

^Agreed, no quartet please. I like my P/O/W trio exactly as is thank you. With a little bit (okay a good dose) of Astrid thrown in for awesome measure

Exactly. Walter, Peter, and Olivia are a family. And Astrid is like, the cool cousin, lol. And Broyles pops in as the badass uncle. No one else need apply.

Like I said before, I really don't see the new agent butting into Peter and Olivia's relationship. She was portrayed as ALL business and totally focused on her job. And her wardrobe was a total give away. She's simply got to be a test subject, and her connection to Olivia along with her backstory should be of interest.

I loved the episode!! (Sorry, just watched it and had to vent my excitement!)

As soon as Charlie shot the shapeshifter I knew he would be dead.

It didn't stop me from yelling "Noooooo" at the tv!

I thought Walter was so hilarious when he called Astrid "Asterisk."

The P/O scenes were done perfectly - they are really building their relationship up well.

Olivia bursting out of her car through the windshields was a pretty awesome. And Broyles! omg, is he much much older than he looks? 3 Administrations and 6 wars? :O. And Nina/Broyles-- although I saw something between them, I totally didn't expect that they have a relationship that involves kissing. Heh.

I lol'ed when Walter was shifting between custard and autopsy in his conversation. And Astrid could totally keep up with him.

I find it interesting that Olivia woke up when Peter was in the room. And she spoke Greek and can't remember anything about it.

How the shapeshifter shapeshifted sorta bothered me. And how they killed off Charlie hurt my soul. HE'S NOT GOING TO WEAR BERETS ANYMORE.

And I sorta didn't like Agent Jessup introduction (she had too much of the in-your-face-what-are-you-doing attitude), but I'm keeping an open mind about her character. Hopefully, we'll get more of the P/O/W with the occasional Astrid moments, and I think she's going to stand in for Charlie once they discover that he's not really him.

I just watched it and I loved it, great way to start the season though it had much less Olivia than I had hoped and this new Jessup character, kinda felt like she was trying to take over her place when we know the show doesnt have a place for two femal leads

and also I didnt really like her cause I sense her getting between Peter and Olivia

But other than that, amazing, loved the Peter/Olivia interactions and I agree with whoever it was that said they have some sort of a connection

I was glad to see Rachel (Ari Graynor) in this episode and that she's still on this show!

Now we have Shapeshifter Charlie AND Scarlie!

This season, I'm waiting to see Peter's reaction when he learns he's really from Earth2!
