Happens all the time. Journalists are detained routinely when law enforcement thinks they have information that law enforcement wants but hasn't been able to get themselves. They have the right to refuse to talk - and they usually do. But it's a nuisance - and sometimes worse - that they can be held for 24 hours with no charges and no lawyer and no contact with the outside world.
