Nice scene of Peter being pedantic. I love Pedantic Peter - in the old sense of the word.

I like the scene where Peter is making a martini from a lab type jar, presumably from the still in the lab. He even has a jar of olives.

The very best of this episode is it got rid of Sanford Harris. I often wondered whether Harris and Loeb and all the rest really thought they were working for William Bell when in fact they were working for Jones against Bell, possibly.

Well I re-watched this and the following episode which were like one episode split into two. The first part dealt with who was behind all the scientific horror events and who was working for him and the second part dealt with why.

I personally don't think DRJ wanted to kill William Bell, in hindsight I think he wanted Bell to see how far he had come, and to get Bell to cure his condition caused by the teleportation - which actually happened in season 4.

The extra bits with the Star Trek/Spock moment was funny but also setting up the fact that Olivia was going to finally meet William Bell.

Walter going off with the Observer, and Nina getting shot after her mysterious meeting with Broyles at the end of The Road Not Taken, was a good cliff-hanger to lead into the next episode.
