Yep, that was definitely The Observer. Interesting.

I don't know why but when Walter was sort of shuffling back and forth in the hotel room and said wooly socks I was cracking up.

I too really enjoyed the Walter/Olivia moment at the moment.

I thought it was cute when Astrid asked Walter if he knew what her name was and he knew it started with an A.

I felt bad for electro guy.

All in all a good ep, but it didn't top the last one for me.

I don't know if I liked this episode as much. However, I did like that there wasn't a direct link to Walter's lab work as much and a lot less on the "Massive Dynamics" connection.

That being said, it was nice that they continued with the continuity of Peter's injuries from the previous episode and had him playing the piano again (!!), as well as working so well with Olivia.

Walter shocking Peter was HILAR! My husband just loves him and thinks he's the glue to this show. I have to agree. He really does bring the quirky funny.

Next week look really sweet!

I feel the same way, Mel. It was a great episode, but I still think The Arrival was better.

I liked that as well. It The Pattern seem more realistic with everything not tying into Walter's lab experiments.

I gotta say that ooh, I would have been so pissed at Walter for failing to tell me that BEFORE I got into the tank, I might want to consider that if John lives or dies, you will see him as a 'real person' when you're really all alone.

Nice side effect, Dr. Bishop. Bad form for forgetting to mention that.

^Yeah I actually am a bit confused about that. So the John Olivia is seeing isn't the same John that MD reanimated? The one Olivia is seeing is the one in her head caused by the dream interpreter thing, right?

Doesn't he mention to her that it's really dangerous and there are side effects involved while she was getting into the tank? Granted, he didn't say "someone else will be sharing your headspace," but I think it would be a given that there could be some type of consequence.

This was an awesome episode, imo. The whole story was just great and it's cool to see how the Bald Guy seems to be everywhere; i wonder about what role he plays in The Pattern and i really want to find out if he's a good person or not. All the scenes were good and i loved the pidgeons' theory; Walter is getting smarter and smarter every more episode! Plus John was so cute with Olivia and i couldn't help but love him

I liked this episode. I especially liked the fact, like Mandy said, that MD wasn't in our faces and, thank Goodness, it wasn't Walter's fault this time
I loved that Peter still had his injuries, it makes the whole thing very believable

Peter/Olivia were really cool. "You stay here." of course, he wasn't going to, duh!

Peter/Walter at the beginning gave me chills. Did anyone else think that when Peter said: "We don't need to talk about it." he meant himself being tortured and that he was a bit disappointed when Walter meant himself?

Astrid/Walter was a bit quick for my taste. I would have adored it if she had asked: "What's my name?" and he'd have been like: "Why, Astrid, of course, did you forget?" You'd think he'd know after having injected her and all.

But, to be honest, I wasn't as interested in the science this week

Yes! I totally agree. Too often shows hit the magic reset button, and *poof* last week's near death experience doesn't even rate a mention, let alone a bandage or a scar. So yeah, I liked that Peter still had physical signs of his traumatic experience.

And...I have a feeling that the Observer is going to become the Where's Waldo of Fringe. LOL!

Loved this episode. Great, full of good moments. Walter/Peter/Olivia all great. I'm really loving the Peter/olivia moments and of course I adore the Walter/Peter scenes. And I did like that whole Olivia/Walter scene two ^^
