I remember in the second episode of the series when Walter said the only way he could fall asleep in the institution was from someone singing row row row your boat. And then at the end of the episode when Walter can't sleep Peter sings it. Even right from the very beginning you knew this relationship was going to grow into something special.

I wish I could find the interview but I read this scene was filmed in a closed set and the tears are all real, no TV show acting.

Funny thing is I remember watching the finale with a few friends and started to mini cry and tried to hide it once I realized everyone else was doing the same it was an "oh okay that's cool" moment

I've lost count as to how many times I've watched Fringe and how many times I've watched certain episodes.

These two together were awesome and Josh and John often spoke about how well they got along, so I can totally see this being a pure moment for them both.
