I think that happens with a lot of cable shows. They have a definite plan for the storyline with a certain number of seasons, and that's it. It's not like they are trying to impress advertisers with numbers. Although if a show doesn't do well, they would probably can it early.

Yeah I think cable shows are definitely a lot more lenient with ratings and especially with the reduced number of episodes per season.

I can't remember when I quit watching but it was after Noah and that English chick
