What's the play about?

It's about a deaf woman and her former teacher, who is also deaf, and their romantic and professional relationship. They both work at a school for the deaf. There's also a film by the same name with Marlee Matlan in the main role, although the story in the film is slightly different. It's unusual because it was one of the first times deaf actors and actresses were used in major plays or films to play deaf characters. It's also a good expose of the difficulties that deaf people face - as well as the fact that they deal with most of the same problems that everyone does.

I absolutely love the scene where Peter plays the piano. Wish we'd seen more of that.

I loved the retro look of that episode and they got the costumes/production design down perfectly. Really could have been a mini movie!

The noir feel episodes like Brown Betty and the background episodes like Peter and Subject 13 really showcase just how good the acting was for the series

I didn't particularly care for Peter on ObserverTech, but I did love how Josh portrayed him. It was stellar.
