I hate the lack of truly intimate scenes we got between them in S5. I get that a lot had happened to them and then even after that all of the stuff with Etta happened but still.

I agree with you to some extent - in that I would have loved to see more. But I also understand that things might have been pretty awkward at first and then when they got a bit more used to being back together, they had Etta's death to deal with and just the whole resistance and potential end of the world thing going on.

It was understandable, though.

Still doesn't make it any less dark as a season.

That being said I still loved it.

Him not being himself did produce some of the best Polivia moments of the series that we've ever had especially when he put the Observer tech in himself

Agreed. Anna did an amazing job play Olivia in the position of having just gotten Peter - and her life - back, and faced with losing him.
