I don't know what's wrong with me. I completely forgot to watch this episode until tonight. I was so happy with the return of Fringe with "Bound" that the euphoria lasted forever, I guess.

Anyway, I was confused about this epi. As others have said, it didn't seem to fit The Pattern, and I was wondering what the deal was! Mr. No-Job created his own murderous pattern, and why go after Olivia and/or her family? Also, it was very shippy, so that didn't fit the Fringe pattern, either.

All in all, I loved the Pacey/Grams reunion. (Was trying to look into their eyes for some fun recognition or something.) I was really impressed with how much more mature Josh looked and seemed. I'll have to watch that scene again. Would love to see any behind the scenes stuff between them!

As for Peter/Rachel/Olivia. Yeah, there were some curious looks of interest between P/R. But you have to remember that Peter had a couple of drinks to calm his nerves before going to talk TO OLIVIA, not to Rachel. I don't think he even remembered Rachel till he saw her again. He went to see Olivia. They'd had a tiff and he wanted to patch things up. I loved that.

Well I liked this epi because it was low on the yuck factor and higher on the relationship scale. It's definitely building up to something bigger and better.

I too loved the reunion. It was so good to see Grams. Brought back good memories of DC's good old days.

I read where some weren't too thrilled about this episode but I really love it for some reason. I think this episode had the most P/O scenes. They are lovely together, aren't they?

I so love Josh.

Oh really? You mean the producers didn't like it or the critics didn't like it?

And yes, P/O are awesome indeed <3

I read a lot of complaining/nitpicking from the other forum. My thinking is, if you're not happy with it for whatever reason, then watch something else. I've never watched the X Files, Heroes or Alias so I have nothing to compare it with. Mainly I watch the show because of Josh.

You got to wonder how much of the Fringe fanbase is mainly pure Dawson's Creek Pacey fans. Hey, at least the show is allowing them exposure to different genres of television.

My sister was a big X-Files freak. Me not so much. People would murder me if they knew that I think that Fringe is a much better show than X-Files

I've only watched a few episodes of Heroes here and there but I might tune in to the "Fugitives" chapter starting next week. I've never seen Alias but now since I've become a J.J. Abrams story freak I REALLY want to!

IF this episode was a movie, without the gooey stuff, I would definitely call it a "Chicks flick".

Good thing this show is a perfect combination of many genres.

Like most of you have said, not the best/favorite episode, but I enjoyed it.

And P/O

I know we only have one more day before the new episode but there is this scene towards the end and I just can't get out of my head. I am not sure how to interpret it.

It was the scene where Peter told Olivia "I don't get it. Why would he protect his father when he knows his father was doing the killing" (something to that effect). Olivia answered "because its his father".

So, did Peter asked that question to make Olivia see why he was trying to protect Walter?

I haven't commented about that episode.

I wanted to say that I love how Olivia encouraged Peter to let his father talk to this woman about whole accident thing which he finally did and now they are finally getting their closure. Plus Peter is so sweet when he is so overprotective of his father. It's time that he starts to show that he does care about him, unlike the pilot that he cares absolute nothing about him. So now so much has changed so far which is good!

I love how Peter stopped by her house by the end of the day just to thank her for whole his father getting his closure. It's amazing. I love their moment. I hate how her sister was kinda hitting on him, but good thing that he didn't seem to let it get to him, you know, and he's so adorable with her niece! It's like he already had been through with kids before or something which is awesome!
