I liked this episode! Wayyyyy less Jessup = a win. The P/O scene in the beginning was way cute: "You're no good at letting people help you" "I'll let you carry my suitcase" I really liked Astrid/Walter trying to figure out what happened to Olivia in the car accident. It really shows how much they both care. They've been trying for days. Astrid/Walter really make a great lab team.

So I'd say the major reveal of the episode: Olivia has supersonic hearing? I guess that's one of the side effects she got from visiting the Alternate Universe, one that Walter was talking about earlier in the episode. It's interesting so far, maybe it can help the Fringe team out on future cases. Speaking of the hearing, Sam Weiss, I wonder if he'll be in more eps, or if he was just a one time deal. He clearly knows about what happens when you go to the AR, so maybe he's been there before, or multiple times before? I kinda wanna know more about him, so I hope he's back, at least for one more episode.

Another Bible reference? Is that the theme for this season?

GAH P/O saving each other was so awesomeeee. It was dark so you couldn't really see exactly what was going on. But I know they both helped each other, and both saved each other. EPIC <3 Brother/sister chemistry. Pfft.

GAH that Liv/Charlie scene would have been so cute if it was really Charlie. Ugh. But quick question, when the dude the shapeshifter is talking to types back, he doesn't type on the SAME typewriter, right? Because in the last scene I was looking at the mirror, and I saw keys moving, but I didn't see them moving on the actual typewriter in the scene, unless I saw wrong ...

AWWWW that Walter/Peter scene at the end was great. They seem to be bonding more this season, LOVE IT. And did I hear Broyles say earlier in the episode that they are getting new living arrangements?! YAY finally out of that hotel! I wonder where they are gonna live now.

Overall I loved it. Great episode, so excited Fringe is back!

I really enjoyed this episode too! For a monster of the week type story, I thought it was very well done and still tied in to the overall mythology. I thought the ending when Peter and Olivia were attacked by the monster was a little rushed and they could have dragged out that climactic scene a bit. But overall, I enjoyed the episode a lot!

So with the voices Olivia is hearing, is she hearing people in the alternative universe? Or does she just have really good hearing now and is hearing people relatively nearby? I wasn't quite sure.

And I saw the same thing, killed the lights. When the shapeshifter was getting the responses to his questions, the keys on the type writer in the mirror were moving, but not the keys on the type writer in the room.

And I will have no problems with Jessup if her screentime is kept to what it was in this episode. The focus tonight was on Peter, Olivia and Walter and that's they way I like it!

Well I think it's in this universe, since Olivia heard the baby in (well, underneath) the house. But that's a good theory, I didn't think of that.

Finally watched the episode

The P/O scenes were shooting sparks!
I donno what the hell is that thing about them being like brother and sister..
I know i don't look at my brother like that

Mosnter eating humans was an interesting line, but it creeped me out a little.

I really liked Olivia and Walter moment, where he told her what he was feeling when he thought she had died

Olivia with a supersonic hearing as a side effect? That would be great! Cause when side effects were mentioned, i thought it would be smth bad .
But that's more of a gift i think.

loved Walter/Peter scene.

Well, the episode was amazing! Can't wait till 2x03

Another fantastic episode.

I loved all the Peter and Olivia moments. The first scene with them at the hospital was really sweet, and how Peter was looking out for Olivia. Also at the end when they saved each other. It was kind of dark to see what was going on, but I loveddd that they saved each other. All their scenes were great.

The Peter/Walter scene at the end and the Walter/Olivia scene was just amazing. I'm so happy to see Walter and Peter becoming closer. And it's really sweet to see how much Walter has come to care for Olivia, and you could tell that she was really touched.

The case was good. I felt a little sorry for the father. All he wanted was a son, and to have to live with the fact that your son is responsible for the deaths and then setting traps for him...

Yeah I don't think it's the same typewriter because the keys on the shapeshifter's typewriter don't when whoever he's in contact with is writing something to him.

Amazing, amazing episode! I have to say the quality of the writing and directing is far superior to last year, and those raise the quality of the acting and over all production. Ha-ha! I loved the CN (Canadian National) train going by in the opening segment!

Loved all the P/O moments... especially Peter saving Olivia underground. He went after her when she got pulled in and when all the dust settled, um, he was on top of her.

Josh's Canadianisms are coming through: he said "paper route" as it should be pronounced, like "root", instead of the more American, "rowt".

^ And, yes, when the mirrored typewriter types back, the carriage of shapeshifter's typewriter on this side moves along in its response, but the keys do not.

I think once again this ep asked more questions than it answered, but that's okay. Pure entertainment.

AWWW I forgot to comment on that scene. I loved it too. Walter has really grown up. I love seeing how he cares for Olivia like a daughter.

GAH dude I know! Someone needs to make an animation of this.

Ok thanks. I thought that's what it was, but I just wanted to be sure. +)
