Now I'll be the one having a pizza tonight or maybe tomorrow
  Between 6 and 8pm a repair person is gonna drop by for my new internet b/c it refuses to work  I so hope it will get fixed today  I still need to read a few books like the 2 last Harry Potter ones __________________

I survived Hurricane Ike. Sort of. We still don't have electricity, water, etc. so it has been all kinds of fun. Craziness here. Just wanted to check in and say I'm alright, but I still won't be around much for the next week or two probably. All depends on when we get electricity, etc. Some areas of Houston have gotten stuff restored but there are still many many areas without...........not to mention the surrounding areas.

Man pizza sounds so good right now.
I don't know what I'm going to eat tonight. All I've had was lunch at 10:20ish, a donut in the afternoon, and some Triscuits when I got home from work. I'm gonna go look for something soon. I'm hungry! __________________

Thanks guys.
Finally got our water back last night. Not hot, but it's better than no water at all. Still no electricity though. I'm hearing maybe the end of the day Monday or maybe as late as Thursday. So, I still won't be around until then. Pizza sounds yummy. My food options have been very limited this past week. |

Mel I'm glad that you are doing well...as well as you can be
Sorry about your electricity, I never realized what damage a hurricane can do to a city. If your water came back then that is a good sign and hopefully your electricity will follow very soon as well. Have you been using a generator Mel? I've read that some place's wont get their electricity till the 4th or 5th of October   We were lucky that our electricity only went out for like a day and half but my heart really goes out to people that still don't have electricity.__________________
