Even though there was a freight elevator in the building, when I moved last year I was never so glad that I lived on the first floor.

I’ve learned my lesson and I absolutely cannot stand having someone above me walking around constantly, the extra trip upstairs I can handle I guess

I used to live just below a body builder. He was a very nice guy, but he very frequently dropped his weights on the floor or rolled them around. I would flinch every time I heard them thud, wondering if they would fall through!

That would throw my anxiety through the roof! Some apartments are so old that I’m sure they literally would fall through

I lived in an apartment with my uncle for a few months and the guy above us used a wooden cane...
