Even PGA players are testing positive, this is not good. I’m in the cancel the NHL playoffs because at this point there’s going to be a huge asterisk next to whoever wins and I’m just curious if they’re going ahead because they know next season will be cancelled

Sports that are popular on TV can manage to put on games with no spectators because of television. But even that requires many more people than just the players. There is a lot of staff needed just to open the stadiums and to support the players. It seems terribly risky for something like that. Of course, the owners and the MLB stand to make a lot of money and so they are pushing the envelope to get something on TV sooner rather than later.

Yeah, $$ is the only reason sports is starting right now at this point. I wonder how many people have to catch covid for them to cancel the nhl playoffs

The governor here make face coverings mandatory beginning yesterday. I was pleased to see that the grocery store had someone at the front stopping people if they weren't wearing something. Although I saw some folks in the store without, it wasn't nearly as many as the last time I went.

That’s interesting, no stores here are enforcing the masks inside law. I have bad allergies and wearing a mask is basically impossible so I have to stay out of stores as much as possible

I did too. I asked a friend who I know for sure doesn't have covid to give me a buzz cut. Great way to keep my body temperature down.

I was too apprehensive to go to a barber.

Yeah the one I go to is only allowing 3 people at a time in the shop and one of the stylists has her own office type away from the others so they’re exercising caution

I’m just glad to have my beard entirely shaved off and a decent cut after 4 months
