Peter sure has come a long way since the beginning of the show. He is so much happier now, at ease, seemingly enjoying his work... it's sad to think his world is gonna be turned upside down. But on the bright side, maybe that will mean we get to see a bit more of his dark past, which could be kinda cool. As always he was looking good.

I know I can't believe how happy he is! But it's sad because we know it's all gonna turn to shiz soon. But I loved when he was giving his speech to Olivia in the car and he was like "This is the longest I've ever stayed in one place." <3

There is a theory going around that Peter already knows his secret which I don't agree with. Let me explain.

Sure Peter has been saying that he doesn't remember half of what Walter says but hey, that goes for everybody. A lot of people can't remember what happened to them when they were seven. Anyways, if Peter has known for quite some time, why wouldn't he have pressed Walter about it? He would also have been a little apphrensive when Walter did the experiment on Olivia in Jacksonville.

He also has been adapted in this world almost all his life and despite knowing about the alternate universe, how would Peter know there is anything different about being in "this" universe?

I wonder if peter will find out the hard way ( judging from the recent promo) it seems that will be the case. *fingers crossed*

I haven't heard that theory before, but I agree with you that it seems unlikely. It would be an interesting twist, however!

and ITA about what people have been saying. Just as I feel like Olivia might be starting to regress as a character (in certain ways, in light of the recent revelation of the secret, which is totally understandable), Peter has really opened up emotionally. It'll be tragic to see his reaction when he finds out the secret.

It would be an interesting twist but it would also defeat the purpose of this 23 year-old secret Walter has been hiding from him. Its also an easy out and its not good television. People want to see drama, angst and longing ( like on Dawson's creek, they took the Pacey/Joey storyline really slow and it paid off in the end) and I think Peter has not shown at all he would have known all this time his secret.

Considering the skeptical person he is, not sure he would believe it anyways.
