From what I remember, not very long.

I can’t watch shows live on major networks anymore because of the amount of commercials

I remember when the actual show part of a show was about 53 minutes long. Now they are closer to 40.

The author makes some excellent points, but I think we can come up with more than 4. What reasons would you give a friend to convince them to watch Fringe?

One reason would be the exciting unexpected twists and turns.

Just...everything

I love the show and am sad that it’s not insanely popular but it still feels like a small club of people that just get it and that makes it all the more special

If that makes sense

Makes perfect sense. It's like being part of a very exclusive club.

I'm still a little disappointed that I didn't get the show when it first came out. I watched the first 2 or 3 episodes on the recommendation of a co-worker, but they just didn't catch my interest. Fast forward about 4-1/2 years and I watched a marathon of reruns over Christmas and got totally hooked - just before the show ended. I wish I'd been a part of the fandom when it was still airing.

Obviously, a new viewer should watch all the episodes if they can. But it's not a bad idea to provide an abridged version for those who might not watch at all otherwise.

This may have been mentioned before, but I just noticed that Fringe is available "Free with Ads" on Amazon Prime Video. I'm not a big fan of ads, but if that's what I have to deal with in order to stream a rewatch, I'll do it.

Yep!

I think Amazon Prime has a deal with IMDB because the IMDb ratings/reviews are accessible right in the prime app and fringe first showed up via IMDB TV

What sucks is that it’s the same ads every time
