Before every commercial break, “Fringe” flashed an image while a voice-over told viewers how many seconds the break will last. Those images were the glyphs (glyph codes) where each image and position of the yellow dots on the images corresponded to a different letter in the alphabet. Each episode produced a single word by the time the last glyph is flashed, a word that, in most cases, related to a central theme of the episode. |
