While Walter deals with some very upsetting news, he tells Olivia’s niece, Ella (guest star Lily Pilblad), a fairy tale that includes musical performances by Olivia and Agent Broyles in the all-new “Brown Betty” episode of FRINGE airing Thursday, April 29 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (FR-219)

I enjoyed this one! It was a cute little filler ep. I have to say, the little girl who plays Ella is fantastic. I really liked seeing all the characters in this noir-element. IDK what was with the electronics though. Like was it because it was in Walter's head so the timeline didn't have to match up? I was confused.

Anyways, the Astrid/Walter scene in the very beginning was sooooo cute! "He is going to come back." Aww. And what did he call her today Ester Fainsworth? Hahahaha oh Walter.

Jaskia was amazing this ep. She's real talented and she has an amazing voice!

The P/O was SO CUTE too. They just have such great chemistry. <3

I too adore the girl that plays Ella, she's the cutest little thing. I think the episode was super-cute overall.

And I love how the mix of whatever Walter was smoking was called "Brown Betty" ... oh Walter.

finally caught up to watch live

at first i was like

for the end with september
it was a cute ep. even tho i wanted answers from last ep , this one was a nice stand alone one. and the P/O scenes were so cute

I wasn't sold on this episode, actually I was kinda dreading it to be honest, BUT I was pleasantly surprised! It was a really fun and funny episode.

I loved Ella's interaction with "Uncle Walter" - her face when Walter first burst into random song was hilarious! It was nice to see Anna give a different side to Olivia, Josh was looking good of course. I saw a lot of chemistry in the breakfast/kitchen scene too

Overall a great episode and I think the writers took on this challenge very well.

Am looking forward to next week however - seems like it's a very Peter-centric episode.

I thought this episode was wonderful. The way the whole episode mirrored Walter's feelings about recent events was done very well.
