Fringe - What's New in 2022?

For the past two years, we've all given things up. While some experiences and situations have returned in part, we're still not "normal".

It's pretty much a given that we would all like to see the end of COVID in 2022.

On a positive note, though, what would you most like to see returned to your life in 2022? Or, is there something completely new that you hope to get or experience in 2022?

I'm a real homebody, so I rarely went to parties or concerts or plays or anything like that. But when you're told you can't or you shouldn't or you have to be extra careful - suddenly that's all I want to do!

But I think more than anything I want to be able to travel. Again, it's not like I do it that much, but as a senior with health issues, it feels too risky still. Plus, I don't fly so my traveling involves long stints on trains. Eight hours in a mask would sort of ruin it for me.

So many things

finally been seen as disabled

thanks to having brain cancer, hoping

to come out of 2022 in remission or damn near close to remission

pretty open about it -- especially after coming back after getting out of the faze the steroid left me in

while still in recovery dropped all my modded boards at the time

which ended up being the right decision cause for the first 3 months was very fatigue/out of focus but now free of it

been able to return to my "normal" both here on

and movie/show watching

the positive is that finally made MST

cause been wanting too for awhile now

I've always been thankful that there is no history of cancer in my family - which lowers my and my brother's chances of getting it. Although there are so many more treatments now that are more effective.

Don't think any history in the family BUT truthfully disowned both parents

dad when was 13 related to getting to pick to see him or not and mother 2008 but sister speaks to her but problem is she also disowned her family being paranoid that they were working against her when she was getting a divorce from my dad

Its been going well

seeing Friday how my latest MRI went where got it on the 20th and doc said to prepare for it to be the same which would be good news -- me and sister both want it to have shunk [sp?]

my goals are to:

- fix my sleep schedule that was ruined by 2020

- start reading more books again
- stay on the healthier eating + exercise routine i started in 2021 (and lose my last 40lbs)
- get my engineering license

Am the same for first 2 but your third is would like to gain 20-40 lbs

though since surgery somehow gained 20lbs and relatively kept it -- I use to average 90ibs and now averaging 110ibs

I am English only

Even being Canadian couldn't pick up French but that mainly was cause had speech problems most of public school than got out of needing to take it in High School cause of my learning disability

Positive start to 2022 related to cancer

Positive/better than expected MRI results where hoping when each MRI is done every 3/4 months that it continues to be better than expected results

found out guess a trial had been done regarding monthly chemo cycles where could do 6 or 12 and guess this is my last cycle it being the 6th am doing on the 17th. Told her don't feel like dealing with both woman monthly and chemo same week

so she agreed to push it but need to get bloodwork on Thursday [another cab/taxi trip] cause something on yesterday's bloodwork at the hospital was borderline -- so she wants to get it checked and meant to call on 17th to see if I do the chemo or not
