The Conjuring

I hate how some movies portray real life figures as hero’s

Ed and Lorraine Warren came off as phonies in real life and Ed was even accused of grooming a young woman but the series glorifies their love story

I know what you mean. I guess those things are colored by how the producers and writers perceive those people, or else because they want to romanticize them to make them more appealing. They probably figure that very few people know much about them or bother to look them up.

Makes sense, almost too much that they hope the audience doesn’t know about their history or just accepts that based on a true story media takes dramatic liberties

It’s ironic because Vera and Patrick’s romance was probably the best part of the devil made me do it

I still like it. I wasn't happy when Shaun broke up with Carly (Jasika Nicole), but the Shaun/Lea relationship has grown on me. I also like the new interns they've brought in, although I don't think they've used those characters enough.
