Technically she's a psychologist. But she works as a doctor for the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit. She seems to be more like this show's version of Dr. Bishop.

The usual release time is midnight US Pacific time or 3am US Eastern. Since Netflix is timezone neutral, they do it that way so that there's no group of people in the US who can actually see the episodes on the day before the official release date. Another explanation is that related contracts are probably executed in California, where most of the TV and film industry is based.
