I didn't know AT before her role in Fringe but she is really awesome and, having seen the pilot/preair, i have to say that she's a very talented actress.

I have this title on my mind, but it's nothing special, so i'll try to think about something better

I wonder if we'll hear her Australian accent clear in some moments.. because a lot of actors keep growing and get better at hiding accents... Especially actors from foreign countries... Matthew Rhys and Rachel Griffiths from Brothers and Sisters are a good example for me at least..

Anna Torv kind of reminds me of Cate Blanchett and someone else but I cant put my finger on it.

Another person that hides their accent very well is Hugh Laurie on House.

She does resemble Cate Blanchett a bit, but also someone else like you said. I had the same thoughts when I saw the unaired pilot. I'm just lacking a name

Hugh Laurie is also a great example of hiding accents yes
