Original Alternate Universe timeline:

After proposing marriage, Frank Stanton's heart was broken when he discovered that alternate Olivia was pregnant (with Peter's child), causing him to walk away from the relationship. He had no knowledge of alternate Olivia's time in our universe, thus assuming she had cheated on him (she did, actually, with Peter posing as prime Olivia) while he was away on business. ("Immortality")



Alternate Olivia gives birth to little Henry.



Altered Alternate Universe timeline:

Peter Bishop erased himself with the Wave Sink Device ("The Day We Died"). Therefore, Alternate Olivia never met Peter, and never gave birth to Henry. ("Bloodline")

As a result, her relationship with Frank remained intact for a while longer. ("One Night in October")



However, they later broke up, as explained by Olivia when she speaks to our Walter Bishop. ("The Consultant")

A Recap:

In the Original Timelines, Peter crossed over into the other universe (S2-EP22 "Over There"). Olivia and Walter went over there to get him, but Olivia was kidnapped and swapped with alternate Olivia. Alternate Broyles died helping Olivia get back to her universe.



However, in the Alternate Timelines, Peter never crossed over, meaning Olivia and Walter never went over there to get him, which also means that Broyles never died helping Olivia get back home. While Olivia was still kidnapped from the alternate universe, it was under different circumstances, meaning Broyles is still alive.

An Affair to Forget:

In the original alternate universe timeline Walternate had a mistress named Reiko (Joan Chen of "Twin Peaks" fame) because he and alternate Elizabeth were estranged, likely due to bitterness etc., from Peter's kidnapping.



In the altered alternate universe timeline, since Peter technically died and Walter never abducted him to our universe, the two of them were able to get closure and there was nothing to break apart their marriage and so, no mistress.

Original Timeline:

Rachel Blake (born Rachel Dunham), Olivia's younger sister and the mother of Ella Blake, comes to visit Olivia from Chicago after she suffers from marital issues with her husband, Greg.



Eventually, Rachel moves back to Chicago where her husband finds a new job, implying they may have reconciled off-screen. At around 9 or 10 years old, her mother (Marilyn Dunham) died and she was brought into foster care with Olivia.

Altered Timeline:

In the new timeline, Rachel and Greg either reconciled sooner or never faced the same marital issues witnessed in the original timeline. They had a second child, Eddie Blake.

Instead of going into foster care, Nina Sharp raised both Olivia and Rachel as a result of being responsible for the drowning of Peter Bishop from the alternate universe as a boy.

Rachel does not appear in the altered timeline, but the details of her life have changed significantly.

In the altered timeline, when Olivia's memories began to get overwritten by her memories of the original timeline, she inaccurately remembers their separation and forgets the existence of her nephew. This was used as grounds to attempt to have her removed from active duty and declared mentally unfit.

Olivia inaccurately refers to Greg as Rachel's ex, who she spitefully calls a "bastard" and does not remember Rachel's second born child, a son named Eddie (named after her grandfather).

It is unknown how Peter's erasure changed the course of Rachel and Greg's relationship. It is possible that because Nina Sharp raised Rachel and Olivia, her different upbringing possibly shaped her into having a better marriage life. The other possible and more likely explanation is Rachel becoming a close confidant of Peter in the original timeline, where she was even flirting with him. This may have changed the course of events, as Rachel implied Peter would be a good father figure to Ella in Greg's absence. Because Peter was no longer there, she would have returned home sooner to Greg and fixed her marriage.

Although Rachel remains unseen in the new timeline to show this. Olivia says that while they're close, they don't talk much due to the nature of her work.

Alternate Universe and Altered Alternate Universe Timeline:

Rachel Dunham died during childbirth as she and the baby's hearts gave out. Therefore, Ella does not exist in the alternate universe. Marilyn Dunham is still alive.

Altered Timeline:

Walter gets Peter a copy of Hump magazine as a belated 16th birthday present . From "Nothing As It Seems" that originally aired March 30, 2012.
