Hey, guys.

I think I great way to promote Fringe would be to get it trending on Twitter in the hours before it airs.

It will show how popular it is, and also invite others to see what it is. If we are tweeting about the show, linking to some art, or some videos, they might just be intrigued enough by what we're saying to check it out.


For those without a Twitter account, here are instructions on how to make one.

Click 'Signup'



Fill in your details and click 'Create My Account'



Fill in the CAPTCHA (Except do it right, not like me... )





Check your email, and click on the activation link.




You now have a Twitter account!

Now, follow some people. You can search for them using the side bar on the right, or here are some links:

Just click on 'Follow' beneath the profile pic, and you're away.


Get it trending

I suggest we use #fringe, or possibly #fringe308 (or whatever episode we're up to). During the hiatus, and next year, we could use #FringeFridays to promote awareness for the move.

What that means, is, if you're tweeting about Fringe, stick '#fringe' on the end of your tweet:

I read that it's not only about the frequency that the tag (#fringe) is tweeted, it's also based on the amount of people using it. So, the more of you who help, the better. Even if it's just a couple of tweets before the episode starts.

Those of us, incuding me, who don't live in America, can stop tweeting once the episode starts to avoid spoilers. But we can still help in the hours before.

To read all the tweets with our tag (#fringe) in them, just search it in the search bar at the top.

awesome I already convinced four friends to start watching Fringe and they are all addicted now

for those who dont live in the USA therefore cant make a difference/change the ratings,
tweeting about the show is a great way to help.

Is it possible for me to accept PMs with so few posts on this forum? New here, but I know on others there's a minimum post count for PMs (like, 500 or something).

We're almost there. We all have to do our bit. During the hiatus we have to remind people about the switch to Friday and encourage people to watch and catch up with Fringe. I think it's great that the cast and crew are all aware of how "rabid" (their words, not mine, lol) the Fringe fans are and how they're behind the show.
