There's No Place Like Homecoming Episode 1x08 Airs: October 28, 2008 Written by: Darlene Hunt Directed by: Tony Wharmby  HOMECOMING AND REHAB - Annie (Shenae Grimes) prepares for her driver's test and works out a plan with Ethan (Dustin Milligan) so they can attend the Homecoming dance without officially making it a date. Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) confesses about her drug use, effectively clearing Naomi's (AnnaLynne McCord) name, and is forced to check into rehab for her addiction. With no one left to turn to, Adrianna finds Navid (Michael Steger) by her side, determined to help her through her pain. At the dance, Ryan (Ryan Eggold) catches Kimberly (guest star Jessica Lucas) buying drugs from a student but is even more surprised to learn that she is an undercover cop.  New ep! Thanks for the thread  I wonder why they're trying to make it look like it's Naomi Ethan's asking to homecoming, when it's obvs Annie's head  Maybe he doesn't arrive with her - so the tag line, it's not who you go with, still stands  __________________

Probably.
The synopsis says Annie and Ethan try to go to Homecoming together without making it a date. So it's probably that. And could Annie and Naomi be having a heart-to-heart of sorts about Ethan/them, given the first photo? __________________

It kind of looks like Naomi's taken herself outside - maybe seeing AE together was a shock - and Annie's come out to talk to her. It's probably one of those talks where they work out their differences and end up being friends
If they're not going with NE, I hope they're not going to make Naomi pine __________________

Well Naomi was the one who realized the gravity of the Ethan/Annie thing and ended it in Ethan's car. I certainly hope doesn't pine.

I never took that car scene to realize that she knew anything about E/A. I mean, she just knew they had met before, she didn't know there was ~feelings~. I mean, she was kinda looking at Annie too, but I still didn't take it to mean that's what it was about. She broke up with him because of her parents and what that made her realize about her relationship with Ethan. Not because of E/A, I don't think.

Yeah, I think it was a combination of her parents' failed marriage and of the realization of Ethan/Annie. That's what I meant. Not that it was all Ethan/Annie that caused Naomi to initiate the break-up.
